In Monterrey Mexico there is a restaurant called "El Patio", like there is everywhere in Mexico, that makes a peanut salsa. It was this salsa that inspired this recipe. I know what you are thinking. "Peanut Wing Sauce? Don't know if I could try that or not." If you like peanuts, I could almost guarantee that you will enjoy this wing sauce.
Ingredients:
Half Stick of Butter or Margarine
2 cups of Red Hot
1/2 cup of water
3/4 cup of peanut butter
Instructions:
Melt the butter in a sauce pan, add the Red Hot and 1/2 cup of water. Heat until it just starts to boil. Turn off the burner and gradually stir in the peanut butter with a whisk. You will notice that the peanut butter will thicken the sauce. The sauce is ready to use.
